Oh dear, I've missed the midnight cutoff and so I technically did NOT publish a post on Sunday the 15th. Apologies to my two followers who probably don't even care.
A few things today: I realized that I've been writing in a British accent without letting you know. Apologies. I blame Charlieissocoollike and the vast amounts of Harry Potter that I've been pumping into my brain as of late. I make no excuses for that, though. I'm preparing for November.
Also, today there is a stink bug in the urinal. And when I pee on it, which I cannot help but do, it...activates? Is that the word for it? It makes the whole urinal area smell like bug. It isn't unbearable, but is still rather unpleasant. I could, I suppose, use the other urinal, but I am a man of habit and I've been using the same one since last year. I would have thought that it would have died by now, being assaulted by pee and flushed so many times, but there it sits, clinging to the air-freshener pad for dear life, squirting bug juice at any innocent college student with a full bladder.
I always try and take pity on bugs in bad situations, but even I cannot bring myself to rescue that thing.

ReplyDeleteI'm excited for November as well. In fact, one of my teachers moved a paper due date to accommodate the midnight premier goers.
And as you know, I'm rather fond of Charlie McDonnell and Harry Potter.
I love your teacher and am very envious. And good to know my English accent does not go to waste. :D
